Amazing game! I loved it 100%. I just wish there was one last scene where the protagonist could enjoy the love he finally found <3 After that raw story, a calm ending would be the cherry on top. But either way, awesome job!
Pardon the cliche but this game is art. The pacing from the engine gives it a very deliberate feel that lets the tension build until it vents just a little bit, which works because the incident may be over but as the conclusion says, the trauma lives on. I liked the part where brief sexual encounters are described that the protagonist hoped would lead to friendships or relationships. The writing made me feel sympathetic to the other characters, even as they were portrayed as flawed in how they dealt with the oppression they lived under.
Raw as hell and gets across exactly what it needs to. I love the flicksy engine so I was happy to see such a strong personal story (and how it ties together with an awful historical story) told with it. Having played both this and Hollow Floor your range as a creator is super-impressive!!
Thanks a lot, I am so happy that you enjoyed the game 🤩 I am glad that it managed to get across the story well :) and thanks for the compliment, it means a lot to me :)
This is really well-done. I'm struck by the sense of pressure with every touch -- even the first scene, leaving the player to figure out if/how to reach out and touch a figure from the back, really embodies the vulnerability/power dynamics that keep expanding as play continues.
Thank you for this difficult experience. It was raw and terrifying. It was very easy to miss with the tone of the game with such a topic, yet you got it absolutely right.

unfortunately, life is not always fair so I didn’t want to have a happy ending they can dilute the message of the game.
Anyway, I am glad that you liked playing the game :)

I am so happy that the game evoked these emotions while playing as that was my intention to feel that you don’t have much.
Thanks again for your kind words and playing the game :)
